Open Letter to Apple

Dear Apple,

It has been a while since you have released iMac 27".

iMac 27" maybe not in the top list of your sales but it is great product for engineers and many of us missing it on the market.

We need it in the following configuration:

• Retina 27" display, XDR if possible
• Apple M3 Max chip with 16‑core CPU, 40‑core GPU, 16‑core Neural Engine
• 64GB unified memory
• 2TB SSD storage
• 4 USB Type C ports
• SDXC card slot
• headphone jack

This is pretty much your pro-laptop configuration + Studio Display. And it is okay if it will be thicker and heavier. Some of us will be encoding movies on this so it has to be robust enough to export a few hours of 4K video in Final Cuts.

You can also combine next M3 Ultra with Pro Display and make iMac 32" Pro.
